Lanolips’ new berry hue: Mulberry

When Lanolips and I first met, I knew I had found the one. My long and often futile search for the ‘perfect lip balm’ had come to an end. Enclosed in baby pink packaging, adorned with a cute little red lipped sheep (like a prettied up Lamb Chop), the original Lanolips 101 Ointment containing 100% medical grade lanolin was the best thing my problematic pucker laid eyes on.

Then the genius behind Lanolips, Kirsten Carriol, decided to step it up a notch and brought out Lanolips Lip Ointment with colour! A nice, non-sticky, ‘glossy sheen-giving’ lip ointment available in five different shades, this time containing SPF15 and over 60% medical grade lanolin, but still providing high doses of moisture nonetheless.

Following on from this was the release of Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid; an ultra rich exfoliating lip treatment infused with organic lemon oil to not only moisturise but also help to gently slough away any signs of dry, flaky lips.

Fun fact: Kirsten suggests the best way to rid your lips of dry, flaky skin is to gently rub them with a towel or face washer immediately after a shower; when the dead skin is softened and wet, therefore making it easier to remove without causing damage. Finish with a nice dose of Lanolips 101 Ointment and you’re on your way to healthy flake-free lip town!

And now another ointment to welcome into the fold, please be upstanding for the newest addition to the Lanolips family, Lanolips Lip Ointment in Mulberry. (Cue applause.)

In an on trend berry hue that gives a sheer hint of colour, coupled with Lanolips’ usual moisture and shine, you’re pretty much set for all your lip-loving needs.

Word to the wise though, Lanolips Lip Ointment in Mulberry is LIMITED EDITION so you better hurry if you’re keen on snaffling yourself one.

You can find it at Myer, David Jones, Priceline and online at one of the greatest lip product repository’s known to man (or more specifically, to woman) Addicted 2 Lip Balm. RRP $13.95.

I’ve been real curious about Lanolips since I first learnt about them from the blogosphere. Looks like I’ll have to pick one up myself and check them out!

Absolutely Celeste, it really is that good! It’s become a staple in my handbag, at the office, at home, on my bedside table, in my car, in my bf’s car… Well, you get the picture =)

That’s so sweet of you, thanks Stacey! I’m always super hesitant of putting my mug up. x

Mulberries are my favourite berry. It is a shame they are so hard to find and when you do they are heaps expensive. I think the Lanolips version will keep me happy year round. Must buy!

It’s definitely a great shade, released especially for Christmas. You can easily build up the colour for a more intense plum too. 🙂

Thank you! I cannot recommend Lanolips enough, especially the original 101 ointment for it’s multitude of uses and it’s super amazing hydrating powers! 🙂
