Two of my favourite alliterations.

Bobbi Brown and Burt’s Bees. And two of my favorite products (although they have countless more) from ol’ Bobbi & Burt (sounds like a folk duo, right?)

Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream

Let’s be honest here, it’s a pretty rare moment when a product actually delivers on its claims and it’s even rarer that it does so after it’s first application. Well, say hello to your beauty unicorn ladies: Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream. Enriched with Avocado Oil, Shea butter and Aloe Vera, the eye cream instantly melts into the skin to moisturise the delicate eye area, (remember to gently pat with your little finger so as not to tug at the skin), minimise the look of fine, dry lines and ensure it’s all prepped and ready to go for smooth concealer application. Plus it’s Dermatologist and Ophthalmologist tested.

I have to admit, it really makes a difference when applying my under eye concealer as it just glides on and helps to counter the concealer from setting up camp into the fine lines.

You can get your mitts on it at David Jones, Myer and at Bobbi Brown online (for Australia!) for RRP $75.

Burt’s Bees Radiance Facial Day Lotion

This cult American beauty brand has been winning fans all over thank to its natural products that actually deliver results. Get in on the action with their Radiance skincare range, popular for it’s glow-getting properties. The Facial Day Lotion is the star of the range, formulated with SPF and Royal Jelly, one of nature’s most nourishing substances. Being a lotion and of the day variety, it’s not super thick so if you’re keen on something light and not too heavy, this one’s a goer. It’s ideal for summer, so keep it in mind when the sun comes back to town.

Burt’s Bees is available at David Jones, Myer, major chemists and online at Adore Beauty. RRP $$39.95

    Dear Melanie,

I did not need any more eye product encouragement. I am broke, don’t you understand?

    Sincerely,
