Hello for 2011!

Hopefully this year will be a better blogging year for me. The past few months have been a crazy blur and with a severe lack of Internet, computing has been made rather difficult (as you can imagine). Fingers crossed that will all change come next week when the Internet finally gets installed at my new place.

What new place, I hear you ask? My new place! Yes, I bought a new house (or apartment, rather)!

Thus, a large part of the craziness can be attributed to the fact that I am now a homeowner (and rather inconveniently, also the owner of a brand spanking new mortgage).

November was spent dealing incessantly with the bank, solicitors and real estate agents and December was spent living in a haze of boxes, duct tape and moving vans.

January however is looking slightly better. I’m all settled now and ready to get back on the wagon.

So here’s to 2011!

A new place, eh? Congratulations! Your transition from DINK (double income, no kids) to SITKOM (single income, two kids, oppressive mortgage) is well underway 🙂

Thanks gal! Right now I’m living the sweet life, but pretty soon the repayments will bring it all crashing down.
